How Tellusol works

Earth's Radiation Balance

Earth’s radiation balance:  Earth’s temperature is not static – it fluctuates within a relatively narrow range that supports life, and that stability is not accidental. It is the result of a carefully maintained energy exchange between the planet and the Sun.

How Tellusol Works

Tellusol uses the same energy that is given freely from the Sun to heat  buildings. Absorbing the Sun's radiant energy into a building, and storing it with conduction. This warm mass, combined with connection to the cool earth beneath, creates a convection cycle inside the building. Using convection to distribute an evenly controlled temperature throughout the building, without any energy use.

My Dream

My dream: In the not too far distant future, we live in a state of peaceful harmony, with the earth, and our brothers and sisters. Without the hatred and greed that infests us, corrupting the world to satiate the endless needs of the few. Through personal independence, we build a society that does not fuel the coffers of those who seek to dominate and control us, to satisfy the never ending need of their own empty hearts.

Working with Nature

The efficiency of direct solar gain

Heating and Cooling (HVAC) typically account for over 50% of an average U.S. home's annual energy consumption, making it the largest energy expense. In Commercial buildings, HVAC can run as high as 58%. Simply by opening up a building to the South, 76% of direct, radiant solar energy can be collected. Compared with an average conversion rate of 18% to 23%  by converting sunlight into electricity with solar panels. With long-distance loss through power lines, these losses can even be as high as 5-10%, sometimes affecting overall efficiency. With wind and solar only creating 17% of energy last year, it seems obvious we need  more efficient methods.

The effects of change

The crisis in our democracy did not happen overnight, nor will it be solved by the next election. The fact that wealth inequality has not improved in over 100 years, points to the failure of our democracy. Tellusol is not an overnight solution to the disaster that has become our democracy  It is a long term plan to bring a true democracy to our nation, giving independence, and political power to individuals

About tellusol.com

Our Mission

Imagine constructing buildings that are affordable, and heat and cool energy free. (System and Method for Temperature Regulation, Patent No. US 9,068,755 B2). Relieving us from the high cost of housing, and the monthly burden of utility bills. Removing our dependence on oil, and the control and interference that comes with it. Bringing independence to individuals, and a true democracy to our country. Compared to the current situation, this is evident from the depletion of our earth, and the suffering caused by it.

The Tellusol Solution

Facing a building South, we take advantage of up to 76% of free radiant solar energy, eliminating the need for outside sources to heat a building.

Connecting with the cool earth beneath every building ,we create the ability for a building to cool it self.

Combining these two opposing forces within the construction of a building, we create a natural convection system, eliminating the need for the HVAC system.

Engineering these buildings with exhaust vents, or upper casement windows in the  model shown, we have the ability to release excess heat, controlling overheating.

Combining these systems together, we create a method that maintains a desired temperature year round. Controlled by heat sensors within the heat sink, connected to a computer, that monitors the system.

Without the need for a furnace or air conditioning units, and the ducting, we reduce the amount of raw materials needed. The mining of these materials and the cost to our planet and the consumer.

Creating a natural system to heat and cool buildings without the need for any outside energy sources.

The Basic Starter Home

This is an example of a basic starter home that anyone can follow to build their own home of independence. This cost list was done a few years ago, using readily available products found in this country. You can order the best products for your needs and the area you live in separately, and assemble on site, This formula was designed for Minnesota, it has highly insulated walls and roof, plus extra thermal/water capacity for thermal storage. There are links throughout the list of the products used. Create your own list with the products suitable for your needs and conditions

A System and Method.

Tellusol is about changing the way we live. Creating harmony with the earth we depend on. Creating more sustainable building methods that are self sufficient, promoting a true democracy, without dependence and control  by outside resources doing so much harm to our democracy. As individuals become more self reliant, we create a society that does not enable those who have power over us.

 If I had a thought

what better could wrought.

Protection for man

with a less severe plan.

What could I do

to see it through?

The Tellusol Solution

I need a team:

An Architect to update my plans, and create new plans using the Tellusol method.

A  Procurement Manager to study where sustainable materials are available, suitable to the local conditions.

To study the feasibility of building factories in locations close to where the materials are needed, reducing trucking distances.

A Networker to create a demand for the Tellusol method, forcing builders to change their destructive methods of  Construction.

Defeating climate change in two ways:

Building with sustainable materials, and buildings that are energy independent.
