Compared with an average conversion rate of 18% to 23% by converting sunlight into electricity with solar panels. With long-distance loss through power lines, these losses can even be as high as 5-10%, sometimes affecting overall efficiency. With wind and solar only creating 17% of energy last year, we need to use less energy.
